Cat days of Summer | Events
Spring flows into summer as sure as felines flow into the Henry County Humane Society. Every year the humane society takes in over 1000 cats. While many of these are adult cats most of them are litters of unwanted kittens. People have a habit of dropping off their unwanted unaltered cats with the thought that “Oh someone will feed them”. Turns out most of the time someone does feed them, at first, until that one cat because a litter or an aggressive male trying to get in their house. At the Humane Society we think that all kitties regardless of age or gender are wanted by someone. With the thought that every kitty should be someone’s kitty the Henry County Humane Society has lowered the price of all cat and kitten adoptions through August 31st, 2012. All cats will still receive their basic shots, Felv & FIV test and will be spayed or neutered. Interested parties will still need to fill-out our adoption application and come out to meet the cats and kittens. If you have any questions please give us a call at 419-592-3777. Our open viewing hours are: Monday 10am-5:30pm, Tuesday-Thursday-Friday 10am-4pm, and Saturday 9am – 12noon
