Health Department launches disease tracking system in schools | News
NAPOLEON, OH (Toledo News Now) - The Henry County Health Department has launched a new program in partnership with the Napoleon City School District.
The district will now be asking parents for specific symptoms when a child is too ill to attend school. That information will be entered anonymously into a web-based system and forwarded to the Henry County Health Department.
The department says the data will help detect disease trends sooner, and respond more quickly in the event of an outbreak.
Anyone with questions on the program can contact the Health Department at 419-599-5545.
